Ashton Yarbrough is a dynamic multi-genre bassist and accomplished piano teacher based on the island of Maui. Classically trained and rooted in orchestral performance, Ashton brings a soulful and versatile approach to every stage he steps onto. His musical journey spans jazz, gospel, funk, rock, musical theatre, and even mariachi, making him a sought-after collaborator across Hawai‘i’s vibrant music scene.

Ashton regularly performs as the pit bassist for theatrical productions at Maui Pro Arts, Maui OnStage and the Maui Pops Orchestra, where his rhythmic precision and musical intuition shine in live theatre settings. When he’s not laying down grooves on the bass, he lends his talent as a skilled accompanist and dedicated piano instructor, inspiring the next generation of musicians with heart, humor, and musical clarity.
